...rather coarse. If someone is banned does that profile remain viewable ad infinitum? Any means for requesting it too, be flushed?

Violation of TOS, there are more of these to come. Earl has banned others for soliciting pledges which members will not vote for Hillary if she is the nominee. Thanks, Earl.
