Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumHILLARY GROUP POST ---- You know what I'm liking lately?
Posters are speaking up. Clinton supporters and even some who don't are now speaking up and countering some of the most egregious statements. There is a small group of loud-mouths here who post the same damn thing over and over.
For a while there, I think some us were sitting back and not mixing it up with the insufferable and obnoxious.
I'm seeing a change.
Good!! Don't just sit back and let them overrun this site.

(100,133 posts)That poster hides behind a supposed lack of familiarity with American English, yet seems to have an amazing grasp of American politics from the deeply negative side.
When asked who exactly she'd like to see run and why, she throws out a few randomized names but no details at all.

that comes from the rwankers. But, there are those calling him a republican on here and saying there's no difference between Dems and Repubs.. when it's only obvious that's a lazy stupid broad brush.
I was on a jury for one such poster the other night and I voted to HIDE .. it was a 5-2 Hide.. and he subsequently turned into a "named removed".. but, there were two posters who voted to Leave.. and there are many more than that around here who like to spout the "no difference" meme, like it actually meant something.

(19,460 posts)It would be so easy to talk about some of the questions I am 100% positive Senator Warren or even Martin O'Malley will have to answer for. But, I am sick and tired of seeing the same dipstick posts about emails, Vince Foster, Whitewater etal...........If we posted some of the shit I have seen about Warren is some of my NA forums, the goddamn sky would fall around here!

(30,058 posts)I read it 50 times it will meet with the same result. I am concerned they are not looking for an alternative candidate, just trash talking. I can spend hours talking about Hillary's qualifications, she has made it easy to do. Up with Hillary, down with trash.

(27,835 posts)First it was the endless Obama bashing, now it's endless HRC bashing - along with a steady supply of Democratic Party bashing.

(179,870 posts)That was a well done post.
To me, one of the key issues this cycle will be the SCOTUS. Elections have consequences and I really hate to see the type of judges that Jeb or Walker would appoint.
Cha
(319,088 posts)it's about the Environment, and yes the dreaded SCOTUS, Health Care, the Poor(which is a very targeted self interest for me.. and everyone in that situation), Social Security, LGBT, and Voting Rights!, Oh, did I mention the Environment of our Planet?

I'm sure we all know this, but DU means just a little more than squat.
99.9% of the voters don't even know DU exists.

(31,454 posts)above ground there's a much different story emerging, if you discount that outlier Reuters/Ipsos poll. Democrats want Hillary, the "Underground"? Not so much. Despite that, Hillary will be fine, because in a few weeks, this "scandal", like so many others, will be but a distant memory.

(31,454 posts)have had with Hillary have long since been settled AFAIC. I gravitated toward the Obama candidacy because there was an excitement that I had never felt in presidential politics, but had Hillary won the nomination, I certainly would have voted for her. There's no one opposing her this time that generates the same kind of excitement that Obama and his supporters did.
