I don't know how to paste the 3 graphics here but they are great, so please click on the link to see them.
For example, the first shows that every major MSM outlet, including the "liberal media", had substantially more negative than positive coverage of HRC (e.g., WaPo 77% negative, NYTimes 61% negative).

I'm not sure everything "boils down" to this--I think there are several key factors supported by evidence as opposed to pure opinions--but definitely agree that the coverage of her work and campaign was horrible and that the report on the widespread use of false equivalencies (by Harvard researchers) supports this as well.

(53,585 posts)And I think that was the most damaging thing to her campaign, coming just 11 days before the election. Right when she was supposed to be turning to positive arguments about her plans, she was put on defense, forced to defend herself without knowing what Comey had. Turns out Comey had nothing. But it tanked her numbers and depressed turnout among her supporters. It was devastating. I remember feeling physically sick to my stomach when Comey put out that first letter.

(27,255 posts)and voted because of Stockholm Syndrome, voted with our you-know-what, a brainless Hillbot. Ironically, if that was actually true like some politicians ... ahem ... who do have cults of personality, the negative press wouldn't have had such an impact.
It was terribly disheartening, in most person-on-the-street interviews I saw on TV, so many women saying they didn't like Hillary but couldn't say why exactly. Clearly it was only the negativity of things they heard around them: crook and liar. If they were to purchase a new car or pair of boots or something, they'd take the time to go online and do research or pick up a newspaper to look at ads, but heaven forbid that anyone do that before voting (or deciding not to vote) for the people making decisions about things that can drastically change your life. Then suddenly they trust gossip and what they see on TV.

(42,443 posts)I mean these people really believe it from all I can tell but they fail to realize they sound just like Republicans or wing-nut JPR types. Same coin, different sides. They also fail to realize--or are in deep denial, I mean I sure as fuck would be, that they helped elect Trump. And he laughed his ass off at them while they did it.

AGAIN: The national media, far left, far right, Trump and GOP pummeled Hillary's image beyond recognition. THAT is why she won't be POTUS.

(10,173 posts)I hope they remember those halcyon days when they thought Obama wasn't transparent enough and when the most they could have expected from hillary was her personal contempt, and not much else outside the usual politics.
