https://m.I cried. I have no shame in admitting that.
If this isn't appropriate, I'll delete. I don't post here usually and I admit to being not sure.

(7,608 posts)I'm going into anger stage, though. Found myself mentally snapping at a man who gallantly opened the door for me at PO this morning - because of the 9 out of 10 voters in this county who voted for the ugly fraud to be promoted in DC- he was probably one of those - probably trying to be nice to a woman proving his non-mysogyny - this was all going through my head while I was mentally saying "I can open my own damn door". Is that sick or what? I didn't say "thank you" and frowned. I don't want to be that kind of person. I need therapy.

(19,612 posts)I'm not dealing well with..well, everything.
I'm a mess, on many levels. I'm sad. I'm angry. I'm scared. I fluctuate between all of them so fast it's mind boggling.
We have each other as we focus on tomorrow, though. That's important. We're here for each other.

We're still here, we still matter!

(96,523 posts)of anger going on right now. Comey and the FBI are at the top of my list, but so are those who voted third party or didn't vote at all, and spewed the same lies and right wing talking points that the MSM was only too happy to oblige.
Loretta Lynch is a huge disappointment with me also. She had an opportunity to order Comey to stand down, and instead she just suggested it wouldn't be proper.
The first thing I did on the 9th was to down grade my Satellite Service to the Family package which essentially is just the locals. No cnn, msnbc, cnbc, or fox.
Next thing I did was send a donation to Planned Parenthood and the ACLU.
I expect the Democrats in Congress to block, obstruct, and do what ever is necessary to fight for things such as the SC, social security, medicare, etc.

(19,612 posts)I've had so many arguments, it's really shocking at the number of disagreements I've had with people close to me.
The only thing I'd suggest is buying a newspaper subscription to a media source you trust. Be it local, or national, we need them. Now more than ever. We need to combat fake news, and disinformation.
I don't know if you're familiar with propublica , but I like them personally. YMMV which is fine, I'm just mentioning them, too.

Thanks for bringing it here. It's perfect -- even if it has already been widely distributed, it deservesto be seen more.

(19,612 posts)I recorded it, and I watched it in private two days later.
I was so raw, I just couldn't do yet then. Hell, it still brings me to tears now every time I view it.

(19,612 posts)It was so good to see a reply from you. I just typed my first post here in a while a moment ago. I'm so burned out right now...I just can't yet.
I went and spent some time with my family. I'll never mock that excuse again, I swear!
We need to get back to work now. It's time.

(305,385 posts)Hawaii time.
Looking for my ol Hillary buds!
Glad you got to spend time with your family.. so important.
Yeah, work..
I may have vented a bit too much in that post, but it's a done deal now.
Not all rural America is cut from the same cloth, which is why it's so difficult for people who live urban to understand.

(305,385 posts)You should see how I've been venting! Must be good 'cause I'm better now.
Thankfully not al rural America is cut from same cloth.. it did happen to be, though, where I was living in upstate New York before I moved to Hawaii.
They were in the Majority but we still had some really knowledgeably people who lived there. Especially where I worked.
