It's my ONE YEAR anniversary of joining DU! The HILLARY GROUP convinced me that I had a place here!
In the great big sea of all the hate and negativity that's online, I found a HOME here in the Hillary Clinton Group.
In the past year, I've met some wonderful people here ... it's been an absolute blast! There have been many interesting discussions and lots of shared information and resources. I've enjoyed the encouragement and enthusiasm from all of the supporters here.
Just doing some quick math, I see that I was posting almost 30 messages a day... but I guess when I think about it, it's pretty easy to believe ... I'd pretty much made this web site (and this group) my main hangout on the internet. I spent more time here than I did on Facebook.
Besides, it's pretty easy to accumulate a lot of messages when bickering with the nasty haters, or when quickly posting animated gifs from the Golden Girls.
Anyway... I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all my new friends and to let you know that I can't wait to experience the next EIGHT YEARS together with you. It's going to be AMAZING!!
