Here's Why Your Facebook Timeline Is Suddenly Full of Hillary Clinton Supporters (Fortune magazine)

Bugler was one of the so-called “closeted” Clinton supporters, fans of the former First Lady who were nevertheless unwilling to publicly voice their support for her during the primary season—particularly when compared to Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders voters.

Yet a couple of weeks ago, on the second day of the Democratic National Convention, Bugler finally decided to put up a Hillary sign on her front lawn (“I half expected it to be vandalized or stolen within a day”), and told her Facebook friends: “I’m with her.”

Seriously, every time some 'Suggested Page' pops up that is in any way right-leaning, far-right, conservative, tea-party, libertarian, pro-Trump, pro-Pence, or hyper-militaristic, I 'x' it right off my page. Life is too fucking short.

I 'Like' many, many pages that are liberal, progressive, socialist, enlightened, forward-thinking, pro-Clinton, pro-Obama, pro-Biden, or pro-Sanders. I think the demographers at Facebook have me figured out by now.

during primary season. I didn't care to tangle with my Bernie-supporting friends. It wasn't worth losing friendships over.

from left and right. I heard "I don't know why anyone would vote for that woman" and "Cheney in a skirt" from people I love and respect. I wasn't going to get into it.
