Screw MSNBS, and the MSM
Too bad for them that at the end of this Convention, the Democratic party will be unified

(5,648 posts)Evidently the problem is MSNBC. I have been watching CNN where the coverage of the convention has be very positive especially after last night. The normal Republican commentators are almost apologizing for saying something negative. (That was kind of funny.) Early in the first day they were playing up the rebellious Sanders' delegate angle, but that emphasis by CNN dropped off dramatically after the situation started to stabilize.
I don't watch MSNBC so I am not qualified to comment, but it seems like their emphasis on trying to find disunity in the convention may be motivated by their desire to pacify their hard left viewers, an important part of their market, whereas CNN doesn't feel the need to do that. Those people are really not part of their market.
I would be interested in the views of more knowledgeable people on this subject.

(5,500 posts)MSRNC is rapidly going to the dogs - and its going on my "do not watch" list - but let's face it. Sen. Sanders has no long term interest in the Democratic Party. He will run for re-election as an Independent, and he truly believes he has a "movement" wait for him to lead.
I welcome his help electing Sec. Clinton but it seems to me he is mostly interested in feathering his own nest.
