"We are being played"

We are being played.

We are being played by Karl Rove's dirty tricks squad.

We are being played by Trump-trolls pretending to be Bernie-brats.

We are being played by a calculated campaign of disruption and distraction.

We are being played by anti-semitic Assange and his vile wikileaks. (He published names and addresses of women in Turkey who are now at risk from both the government and other agitators.)

We are being played by Vladimir Putin who wants Donald Trump to win in November.

We are being played.

We need to be smart enough and savvy enough to say, "Ohell, no!"

My team is blue.

All the rest is misdirection, distraction and BS.

2. Sanders' un-Democratic delegates are giving the media everything it asked for and then some.

Angry white men shouting down black and female speakers. Supposed Democrats (but not really Democrats) boasting about their future Trump or Jill Stein votes. Childish antics to overshadow the substance of the entire Democratic platform that these delegates supposedly came to support.

They couldn't be better useful idiots for the media and the Trump campaign even if they were paid for it.

... in disrupting the convention. We don't tell people to beat up those who protest. Their continued presence in the hall is proof of our tolerance, proof of our determination that everyone gets their say, regardless of what they are saying.

These people would be back on the sidelines with absolutely no one paying attention to them if it were not for the Democratic Party. They are our proof that "we go high when they go low"

if some folks make the mistake of screwing it up on Day 1. The media is already using the dead-enders behavior to establish false equivalence with the RNC's hatefest.

This outcome is infuriating because it was perfectly avoidable.

.... but I don't watch TV networks that try to put a left or right spin on the news for ratings purposes. I consider both types of biased media to be disingenuous. I want media which presents all points of view and I think I am smart enough to come to my own conclusions.

Bias is relative, so all you're saying is that you only watch networks that fit your bias. Same as everyone else does.

11. No, I watch TV networks which try their best to be unbiased

No one is unbiased, but at least CNN tries to be professional and certainly entertains all points of view. If you want your news pre-screened to remove anything you don't like so you can sit in an echo chamber, that's your choice.

12. CNN is your "unbiased" source of news? The network that put Trumps campaign manager on the payroll?

including Donna Brazile, who is now interim chairperson of the DNC.

When you get up off of the the floor, dust yourself off, and figure out you aren't as knowledgeable as you thought you were, perhaps you could tell us what unbiased news networks you watch - MSNBC? FOX News?

You lost because you tried to make me prove your claim when you couldn't. Maybe instead of thinking up lame jibes like "when you get up off of the floor," your time would have been better spent, I don't know, backing up your own argument? Something for you to think about, CajunBlazer. Better luck next time.

Oh, and I'm just going to take this opportunity to Ignore you, as this is the second encounter I've had with you when you resorted to insults when you fell behind. Fool me twice, shame on me, yada yada yada.

And I didn't say CNN is unbiased - I think that it actually has a bit of liberal bent, but I will bet it is a lot less bias than whatever you are watching unless it is C-Span.

And if you can't handle a relatively calm discussion, I am proud to be on your ignore list. However, if you plan to spend time in the Hillary list I have to warn you that you are going miss a lot.

I like to get familiar with the analysts and the campaign spokespeople for both camps on one network so I know where they are coming from in order to know how to gauge their reactions to recent events and developments. That way I can understand which ones are really trying to be objective and which have a tendency to show a built in a bias one way or the other.

And I don't mean Bernie Sanders. I watched the the entire convention on CNN yesterday and I thought they were totally fair.

The media is not the enemy. We know who the enemy is and his name is Donald John Trump. We don't need to put any energy into fighting the media; there are far bigger fish to fry.

You left out the reason Julian Assange is hiding out. He's accused of raping some woman in Sweden.
