(Hillary Group) I promise you this is the dumbest thing you will read all week.

I'm not kidding, beware! This could make you dumber just reading it if you read the whole thing.

Excerpt:

There are many reasons to dislike a Hillary Clinton candidacy, from the appearance of banana republic “wife of a previous president” to her horrific bad judgment in supporting wars over peace, to her ignoring crimes against humanity from the Rwandan genocides of the 1990s through the rise of ISIS to Boku Huram, to the kill-the-gay-people-and-stone-the-women friendships with foreign countries, to her ineffectiveness in areas she claims to be passionate about (unions never implemented during her Walmart directorship, abortion restrictions increasing over the last twenty years of her public life, gender wage parity stuck at the same levels during the same period), but truly, there is one thing that really demonstrates absolute contempt for the country as a whole:

The Republicans hate her.

Ah, while a partisan knee jerk reaction might be to snarl “we welcome their hatred!” this is part of the problem. The reality is we are a “two party” country, but the office of President requires more because the President isn’t just the “President of the Democrats or the Republicans” – they are the President of the whole country. They are, in theory, above Party because the whole country needs to be able to rally around them in the event of national crisis. The bully pulpit of the Presidency is expected to stand firm for issues of national value – the truth speaker and trusted one, because there is no higher honor citizens can offer.

...

The idea of asking Republicans to bow their heads in respect to a “leader” who is despised by the rank-and-file Republicans at this level is appalling.

...

The Democratic Party isn’t even trying to hide their real message anymore:

It is “FUCK YOU, AMERICA!” And they laugh, because the bullies think there is nothing we can do except obey….

To recap: their thesis is that running someone that the Republicans hate is an insult to the entire country.

It should be illegal to be that stupid.

this is the kind of blind hate she's been up against for 25 years now, from not only the extreme right but impostors on the left.

Did not see a lot of concern with many others but I guess it is from one's view point whether it matters. I told someone this morning if we like our Social Security thank a Democrat, if you like keeping it thank a Democrat. If you like our kids and grandchildren having health care thank a Democrat, namely Hillary Clinton.

The GOP is shedding stalwarts like cat hair over the Trump nom. High neo-con Daniel Pipes just publicly resigned from the party today.

First, Trump's boorish, selfish, puerile, and repulsive character, combined with his prideful ignorance, his off-the-cuff policy making, and his neo-fascistic tendencies make him the most divisive and scary of any serious presidential candidate in American history. He is precisely "the man the founders feared," in Peter Wehner's memorable phrase. I want to be no part of this.

A lot of Republicans think conservatism as a brand can contain itself under a Hillary Presidency but not under a Trump Presidency.

The message from the Democratic Party is clear – Hold Your Nose for Hillary! The alternative is worse! Bow your heads, and celebrate the anointing of the First Woman President! Show some God Damned Respect, or Else!

It is “FUCK YOU, AMERICA!” And they laugh, because the bullies think there is nothing we can do except obey….

Wth with their obsession with all bowing and obeying? They project some seriously crazy, paranoid sh*t on Hillary and the Dems.

Apparently, the primer for Pinebagger membership would be:

1. Hillary, everything ever is always your fault!

2. You're not the boss of me!

Given the track record of that site, I am sure there will be something even dumber posted there tomorrow - and the next day, and the day after that, and on it goes.

The only thing "progressive" about that site is that the stupidity gets progressively worse on a daily basis.

Having said that. I hated GWB and Dick Cheney. I hated Ronald Reagan. GWHB wasn't that bad, but I certainly didn't like him. And who can forget lovable Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon? Hated him with the power of a million suns.

Republicans hated JFK, and if you believe conspiracy theorists, so much so, they had him assassinated. They pilloried Jimmy Carter for the one term he was in office. Bill Clinton was stalked, accused, condemned, and tried because the RW hated him and Hillary so much. President Obama didn't even get to finish his oath of office before they were figuratively gunning for him. The RW hate has been growing for 60 years. It reached a zenith with all the advancements in "social" media. Now people can be as hateful as they want in anonymity.

How ridiculous for the person whose name will never be mentioned on this web site ever again, to suggest we vote for someone that is beloved by all. Does she think if Bernie Sanders got the nomination all Democrats would embrace him, Yes the majority would support him, just as they are supporting HRC, but is she disillusion enough to think the RW would welcome with open arms, a LW socialist? And as much as there was a flap over a DNC email bringing up his religion, or lack of it, does she not think the RW would eat that up and spit it out in nasty ads by super pacs.

Lord, this campaign has really brought out the ugly on the Liberal side of the scale, i guess the stupid too.
