10. Pence was trying to score political points.

He obviously underestimated Obama. It pains me to think that the legislature continued to purposefully tank the economy to make sure Obama did not have success. They used their positions, not to do the work of the people, but to try to gain as much power as they could. I think they should be arrested for treason.
