Funny.. the other hit where my daughter and her family live.. but the Hawaii one hit the Big Island.. My son, his wife and I are on the most Northern one..

Found this though... Eeee gods!

The U.S. Geological Survey says that minor earthquakes have shaken part of the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area and Hawaii

The agency also reports that on Hawaii's Big Island, a magnitude-3.0 earthquake hit near the town of Leilani Estates at 4:13 p.m. local time. There are no reports of damage.

Experts in Hawaii are more focused on the possible tsunami effect of major earthquakes that take place in the Pacific Ocean region around the islands. A study by University of Hawaii researchers released in May says there's a 9 percent chance that an earthquake measuring magnitude 9 or greater will strike Alaska's Aleutian Islands within the next 50 years and send large tsunami waves to Hawaii.

Thank you caring, sweetheart!

totally forgot I knew someone on the Big Island! I am so sorry, pandr!

You felt nothing.. good! Here's to it staying that way~

I know what one feels like because I lived in San Diego for 15 years and there were 2 different small ones, years apart. I was in bed once and looked under the bed to see what was there I was so clueless and then just sitting in my car for the other one.

I mostly get my news from someone on DU telling me about it or word of mouth over here.. so far it's worked out.

Have a great Sunday enjoying your Island!~
