I'm concerned

Seems several posters are complaining that Hillary Clinton 's choices for VP are "boring" or unexciting. Please folks, we are looking for competency, not someone that will makes hearts a flutter. Let her pick someone who can assume the Office, if necessary. This is not a popularity contest, it's the choosing of the leader of the free world!

1. Yep that's very childish! Want the Government to be a spectator sport!

To make them feel excitement! Like a TV show Drama>

I want people that can do the job. That's exciting for me! The exciting thing is getting a government that runs & works as it should.

I don't want a drama-filled candidate who constantly says controversial things. Are we selecting a president or a reality show cast member?

2. If she chooses a dull white guy I will totally understand her reasoning.

It is very easy for us to forget that the country we live in is terrified of and offended by women with power. That is true for Democrats as well as Republicans. And it is true for people who will SWEAR that it is not true of them.

A white guy to backstop her will make some voters feel better, consciously or unconsciously.

It's gross, but its reality.

Personally, I want Warren.

4. Can't we have both exciting and competent?

That would solve the problem!

We need exciting to help us win the election, we need competent so the country will be in good hands. Its pretty simple, I don't understand all the debate over this.

I am so glad she didn't primary Hillary - who remains more qualified than anyone else - but together! - that unimaginable dream ticket!

Not all of the American voting public agrees with you. Hillary is not going to win this election just by being Hillary.

12. Disagree! She needs as much help as prior presidential candidates and that's about it!

She is not a special kinda case that needs a very astounding VP running mate to save the day!

HRC is brilliant, and qualified and outstanding all by her lonesome self!

6. A VP needs to be able to assume the office of presidency should the need arrive. I think Hillary

realizes the need to have someone in this positon to be able assume the positon, she will make a good selection, I am very willing to allow Hillary to make this very important decision, she is the one I am voting and I know she will make a fine president who can also make a fine decision on her VP.

I'm sure Hillary will pick someone who can step into the presidency if needed. I trust her to push past the din and choose a good VP. If he or she is also "exciting," fine.
