Biden: "I've talked to Bernie. Bernie is going to endorse her."

Vice President Biden says Bernie Sanders will endorse his Democratic primary opponent, Hillary Clinton.

"I've talked to Bernie. Bernie is going to endorse her," Biden told NPR's "Weekend Edition," according to NPR reporter Rachel Martin.

Michael Briggs, a Sanders spokesman, would not confirm or deny the vice president's assertion.

“We are in the process of talking” with the Clinton campaign, he said, and noted that the candidates met earlier this month to talk about next steps.

Remember when Bernie talked to Senator Reid and said that he was going to put out a nice statement in regards to the NVDem mess? Remember that statement?

STILL waiting to see the tax returns that were promised ages ago.

Those are moot now. But that situation serves as an illustration that what is said is not always what is done.

When I see it ... only then will I believe. In the meantime, I don't give a flying fig.

Why does Sanders tell people privately that he'll endorse her but then says something else publicly. He's like Mr. Duplicity.

and then realizing they were the scourge of the earth when you lost the primary.

Or voting for the Crime Bill and then trying to pin it on your opponent because he husband signed it and your message doesn't resonate with African Americans.

Or basing Superdelegates and then begging for them to overturn the will of the voters.

Or negotiating a party platform that was suitable behind closed doors and then having your delegates propose all or nothing amendments in public at the last minute.

He does things like this all the time. He was asked the other day if he'd vote for her, and he said yes. Just an hour later, he changed his answer to "in all likelihood" on another interview. WTF

Back in April, Weaver stated that Sanders would remain a Democrat for life, post-primaries, but now they're talking about him being Independent again.

Furthermore, every word out of Trump's mouth is a downright lie -- yet Hillary is the one with trust issues, when these two are continuously spouting garbage?!

How many flip-flops and reversals have there been from these two men? Hillary's crucified for the appearance of something mildly improper, while others get away with murder. It's sad that we've become used to this crap.

and can I say I was not surprised by the non endorsement? He strongly inferred that his holding out for the platform, specifically repudiating TPP. That's not going to happen, as it's PBO's treaty. The party WILL NOT disavow President Obama.

Hedge against 'sell out' label if he can maybe get some concessions.

I think Elizabeth is stealing his thunder, and Bernie is slowly disappearing into obscurity.

Being called a sell out.

From the very beginning he was called a sheepdog by Internet lefties. The minute he endorses that will come right back up.

Sanders needs to realize that the approval of his super secret indie leftist club is FAR less important than destroying Donald Trump and translating that into downballot races across the country.

All things considered, I'd prefer it if he'd just go back to the Senate and do his job there.

It takes "know-how" to end things well.

Ending is hard. It tests people. It shows what they're made of. It's very telling that way!
