Unlock open data and make it useful. This is the mission statement that Tim Hwang and his co-founders laid out when launching FiscalNote in 2013. The sentiment still drives the company three years later.
Since that time, product and engineering teams at FiscalNote have been changing the way government affairs professionals interact with government on behalf of their companies. But our data science team and content producers know that we can have a much broader impact.
Today we begin to make that additional impact with Whipboard a publication providing data analysis and insights on the current state of American politics. Specifically, were gearing up for the 2016 election this November, but more broadly were looking at politicians, their efforts, and the communities they serve.
Were very much focused on assessing the past and present to determine outlook and actions for the future.

(5,096 posts)honestly, I think it's yet another flavor of "Bernie or Bust". As I recall, there were PUMA sites that popped up like this as well, which no longer exist.
What I see with all this? They're trying to infer that someone will step in and "save the day" from the evil bitch monster of DOOOOOM!!!!

(3,849 posts)when you posted your research in a different thread....I think it was in general discussion (?) I appreciate that you tried to penetrate the insane "bubble" that continues to show up here on DU. I hope it is just Republican trolls trying to poison the well by posting "info" from shady websites. In any case...Thank you for your efforts! Hillary 2016

And this is being passed as a source! Stating hat Bernie is getting lots of donations in-spite of losing the nomination and that he's got no debt. His supporters get all exited and money comes out! He sent a fundraising letter yesterday!

Disinformation:
Disinformation is intentionally false or inaccurate information that is spread deliberately.[1] It is an act of deception and false statements to convince someone of untruth. Disinformation should not be confused with misinformation, information that is unintentionally false.
Unlike traditional propaganda techniques designed to engage emotional support, disinformation is designed to manipulate the audience at the rational level by either discrediting conflicting information or supporting false conclusions. A common disinformation tactic is to mix some truth and observation with false conclusions and lies, or to reveal part of the truth while presenting it as the whole (a limited hangout).
Another technique of concealing facts, or censorship, is also used if the group can affect such control. When channels of information cannot be completely closed, they can be rendered useless by filling them with disinformation, effectively lowering their signal-to-noise ratio and discrediting the opposition by association with many easily disproved false

Campaign cash of Sanders growing, despite elimination [View all]
https://whipboard.co/2016/06/campaign-cash-sanders-growing-despite-mathematical-elimination/
Despite Hillary Clinton winning the outright nomination on June 7, Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) refuses to back down. According to CNN, Sanders pledges to fight on to the convention. Sanders supporters have also made it clear that they will continue to give money to his campaign.
In fact, according to recent Federal Election Commission data, the Sanders campaign raised an additional $17 million throughout June, despite being mathematically eliminated. Of the over $229 million Sanders has now raised in total, 99.98 percent has come from donations, which is greater than what presidential candidates Donald Trump, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Ohio Governor John Kasich raised.
Sanders has no debt that he needs to settle, and has spent approximately $219.9 million with a surplus of $9 million remaining, which he will most likely spend before he drops out of the campaign.

NOW:
Campaign cash of Sanders growing, despite elimination
Editors Note: A previous version of this story incorrectly reported May fundraising as June.
Despite Hillary Clinton winning the nomination on June 7, Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) refuses to back down. According to CNN, Sanders pledges to fight on to the convention. Sanders supporters have also made it clear that they will continue to give money to his campaign and the campaign continues to ask for it.
The Sanders campaign raised nearly $46 million in March, but only $16.4 million in May.
Of the over $229 million Sanders has now raised in total, 99.98 percent has come from donations, which is greater than what presidential candidates Donald Trump, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Ohio Governor John Kasich raised.
As of May 31, Sanders had no debt that he needs to settle, and has spent approximately $219.9 million with a surplus of $9 million remaining, which he may spend before he drops out of the campaign.
