"OMG there is LOTS of anti-semitism and red-baiting here, I've never seen anything like it."

Had to be on a jury for one of those stupid Trying To Make Anit-Semitism Happen posts.

horribly terribly!!1" and then someone says, "what happened? What was said?" and then it's all "oh, I didn't actually see anything MYSELF but my friends' grandmama's third cousin said she had seen somebody somewhere say something that upset somebody."

And then when you do take the requisite five seconds to try to figure out what may have happened, you find that an incredibly tiny number of folks ran around DU saying things every bit as bigoted, ignorant and hateful as anything you'd find on Free Republic. Hmmm... do you think, and I'm just spit balling here, that THE THINGS THEY SAID AND THEIR BEHAVIOR could be the reason they had their asses handed to them by other minorities instead of simply because of their support for a particular candidate????

It's all so incredibly stupid and so PAINFULLY dumb.

that holding pattern for several more months - if not forever.

Unless I am on a jury, I rarely see the worst. And I am cool with that!

What PLANET have these people come from who a) still think that this could happen or b) believe it would make any damn difference whatsoever even if it did???

I have seen the STUPIDEST crap around here lately but this "Sanders could still win California!111" is like the most painfully stupid thing I've seen all year. There aren't enough in the world.

Justice Gazette. http://justicegazette.org/index.html

Politifact has, btw, rated at least one of JG's claims as "Pants on Fire." http://www.politifact.com/california/statements/2016/jun/10/blog-posting/pants-fire-viral-rumor-bernie-sanders-won-californ/

Three days after the election, Clinton had more than 2 million votes to Sanders’ nearly 1.6 million, for a lead of about 450,000 votes, according to the California Secretary of State’s website. If there’s any landslide victory, at this point, it’s by Clinton.

Of course, the results are not official, as nearly 2.6 million ballots remained unprocessed as of Thursday, June 9, also according to the California Secretary of State. Most are expected to include votes in the Democratic presidential primary.

Reports surfaced on Election Day about broken voting machines, incomplete voter rolls and confusion among unaffiliated voters over how to obtain a Democratic ballot. Many voters received provisional ballots that were not immediately counted.

Once they are, pollsters expect the gap to narrow, but not close.

PPR'd. I don't come to the decision to "iggy" anyone lightly. I can take a punch and give as good as I get. But the ones that land on my iggy list are there for very good reasons, and I refuse to take them off it.

I have never put anyone on ignore nor have I trashed a thread or group. Big mistake! After reading so much invective and stupidity I may never be the same. Still recovering from GDP. The struggle is real.
