The GOP is ripe for takedown. Ryan's words open the target

I just can't believe the perfect bullseye that has appeared on the entire GOP. Ryan said that Trump's recent attacks on the judge were "the definition of racist," and then says he'll still vote for him. Some Republicans are also admitting the Pocahontas attack is racist, and yet the GOP still mostly says they'll vote for him. How perfect is this?? All the Democrats need to do now is show Ryan saying Trump is racist, then show Republicans saying they'll vote for him.

Can you imagine admitting that a candidate is saying things that are the definition of racist and then saying you're going to vote for that person?

Surely the DNC will be on this in the GE

They are a-OK with a blatant racist being the leader of their party! Might as well get David Duke as VP! a two-fer!

it looks like Trump is a gift to Democrats. He's doing more than we are to tarnish their brand

still have years left on their current terms, and potentially re-election campaigns to consider. Everyone in the House, at least. That could be a huge opportunity for Democrats in some of the normally-gerrymandered-just-closely-enough districts, if they got enough Republicans to stay home or vote Libertarian or even flip for Clinton.

I think Trump puts both the House and Senate in play this November.

opportunity for us. It's so good that James Carville doesn't believe they'll let Trump have the nom at the convention.

On a different note (but equally damning!), Mitch McConnell said this about Trump's VP choices yesterday:

"He needs someone highly experienced and very knowledgeable because it's pretty obvious he doesn't know a lot about the issues," *

How do you admit Trump lacks crucial knowledge and he's racist...but...you're going to vote for this guy??

Republicans are screwed.

It's almost unbelievable the ammunition they are giving us. Seems like they are intentionally helping him fail, which perhaps they are. Either way, a lot of them will go down with him.

Donald Trump is doing enough damage by himself. I'm glad to see other Republicans are doing their part to ensure total destruction.

They figure that the vulgar talking yam will sign whatever POS bill they send over the the White House, so what if he is totally incompetent, completely corrupt, and blatantly racist?

These are all attributes the Republicans are comfortable with. Up to now, they have hidden their racism behind dog whistle phrases, but it is there. Corruption is what they are all about.
