(20,343 posts)didn't like that a racist thread was being called out as racist. (It was 0-7 to leave, luckily.)
The alert rule changes cannot come soon enough.

(26,164 posts)I agree that the rules need to change asap. I think a lot of alerts have more to do with who the posters supports politically than what was actually posted.

(1,233 posts)But with some of the posts I'm seeing, and the clarity the new rules provide, there will at least be a mass involuntary migration elsewhere event.

Walk away
(9,494 posts)They are just so sure that Hillary will be dragged away in handcuffs unless....Obama gets her out of it! I really get a kick out of them. I'm going to have to check in at their off site soap box to get a laugh.

Never mind.

(30,150 posts)I'm tired of the multiple postings about the same article as though repeating it often enough will somehow give their OPs traction.

It is happening on Facebook, to.
It as if a team of professionals were trying to stop any semblance of unity.

(28,833 posts)The alternative is disturbing. The level of intentional ignorance displayed today *has* to be fake.
It has to be. I'm going to keep telling myself that. lol

The ones still here and are bitter because they think the primaries were stolen, will have a hard time participating civilly and will eventually earned their sought after ban. But a majority of the Bernie supporters will move on and support our nominee.
I understand why they supported him, what I never understood was the nastiness and hate spewed for the last year.

(15,493 posts)I could well understand their enthusiasm - at least until recent weeks - and was generally delighted that he was in the primary so that Dems could draw some attention away from the GOPer freak show. I also like his speaking out so strongly about economic equality.
What I didn't appreciate as much was how income inequality was the single TP that practically excluded any other issues/dialogues. Even then, I could see how appealing he was to young people.
But I could never understand why some felt that they had to continue repeating GOPer TPs against Hillary.

I've done MIRT duty several times and it's a mental, emotional drain because you see how many complete asshats in the world are trying to screw with us here.
Let's give a shout out to our current MIRT group.
They do a great job and don't get enough praise or thanks

I read post after post, to the point where I was angry enough to start responding. But then I thought why bother? It won't help, and I'll just put myself in a bad mood.
I came back here and just wanted to say I LOVE IT HERE. Thanks, everyone, for providing a comfortable, safe and SANE place!

(4,187 posts)I appreciated your posts in GDP.
I agree, though, that it makes one's blood boil. It's really not worth the effort to post there.
