Were the superdelegates suppose to be quiet? Hell No!

Of the delegates I could find that were part of last nite's group 13 were from states that had already held their election. Only 2 were in states that had not concluded their election. One in California and one in DC. You would think it would be okay for those 13 delegates to announce their support. But noooo. They should keep it secret and declare Sanders the winner.

Governor Jerry Brown is a superdelegate that endorsed Clinton a week before today's election. Generally the purpose of endorsing is to show support for a candidate. It is what major people do to encourage others to vote for that candidate. They don't complain about state legislators or mayors endorsing other candidates.

"Hey, Bernie! See how our votes don't count?"

Is it 'ash heap' or 'dust bin'?

cojones on that one and his Libertarian/Communist/Anarchist/extremeLeft followers are YUGE. When, even five months before the November election, 72% of his followers will vote for Hillary Clinton against Trump, the remaining 25-28% who wail that they won't vote for Hillary Clinton were never interested in voting for any Democrat anyway. No loss there.

The arrogance! An "Independent" all his life who didn't make anything of his life, ran for public office again and again but didn't amount to much until he was 40 when he finally won an election; who got filthy rich through gov't (est.: $2 million net worth), and who asked to run as a Democrat even though he's quoted as saying he never would because of the ugly things he's said about the Democratic Party, thinks he can come into OUR house and throw his weight around??

Don't think so.

I have ZERO problem that the media chose to report that Hillary Clinton has become the Democratic Party's presumptive nominee. It wasn't as if this was tossed into her lap on a silver platter. She had to work darn hard for it and she succeeded merely through that hard work, making this an historical event: the first time in American history that a woman wins the endorsement of a major political Party, and it should be celebrated not excoriated!

As I've contended again and again, having two women on the top ticket is almost a guaranteed loss for us in November. Look how hard Hillary Clinton has had to work when this should've been a cakewalk for her after the successful accomplishments by President Obama. Were it not for her gender, this would've been a cakewalk. Look how easy it was for BS to get where he is! So it had become clear to me that too many Americans would still vote for a mediocre and elderly male Senator from a tiny State with no legislative record to speak of (and the record that he has is alarming to me) than for an incredibly accomplished woman.

This country is still immensely male-centric, filled with men who loath the idea of having a woman lead this country and women who support that closeted misogyny like the sheep they are. I surmise that they might not mind it too much to have ONE woman at the top but I believe they think that two is just too much of a good thing.

But we got Hillary in, Cha! We did it! We are instrumental in helping to shatter that thick glass ceiling in November, and for that we should PAR-TAY!

I want diversity in the Prez and VP.. Hillary wants someone who could be President @ anytime and that means grooming to be POTUS, too.. learning on the job. And, being young enough to run in 8 years.

Nobody is more groomed than she is now.. she'll teach them.

We'll find out soon.. before the convention I would imagine.

against us, and we prevailed. That's what makes this victory so sweet: to know that the vast majority of voting Americans didn't fall for Trump's tripe nor Bernie's bombastic speeches. We approached this with clarity of heart and mind and saw through the well-funded smear campaign against the Clintons...and we are victorious!

I, too, would like diversity in our president and veep. I believe in the bigger picture. Although I'm certain plenty of Sanders supporters will be deeply hurt by this loss, they'll come around in five months, and with time, clarity of mind will prevail when they realize who the true enemy of democracy and progressivism is - and it's never been Hillary Clinton. She's been on their side all along. Therefore, it's unnecessary to ply them with what they perceive to be a liberal to be Hillary's running mate.

Some of them are just upset that Sanders isn't going to win and will come around.

Some of them were just messing with the polls to try to influence the results and will come around.

Some of them will spend some time with the prospect of President Donald Trump and come around.

Some of them won't come around. Oh, well.

Some of them were never going to vote in the first place, especially the ones who couldn't even be bothered to show up for Sanders on voting day.

their endorsements. Surely such smart women must know the purpose and intention of an endorsement, no?

As impressive as Warren's attacks on Trump have been lately, she could have been making them a LOT longer had she not been so afraid of the BernieBros that she withheld her endorsement ahead of MA's primary.

we had a presumptive nominee than provide a temporary bump in a primary process that's effectively been over for weeks, if not months. The race was rarely as competitive as the media and the Sanders camp wanted everyone to believe.

As divisive as this primary season has been, I agree with their decision to wait. I think it's going to make for good visuals, especially in light of the "Trump's campaign is imploding" stories making the rounds.

Not endorsing Bernie likely gave Hillary the victory in Massachusetts - as her Facebook "comments" suggests.

Warren stayed above the fray, and her stock just went up!!!
