They never had any interest in unity. It's pretty difficult to unify the party when one candidate and many of his supporters are trying to kill it off.

Plus, anarchism tends to abhor unity.

It takes a monumental amount of intentional ignorance to not see Judicial Watch for who they really are. Or Breitbart or FACT or National Review or the Blaze or Fox News or any of the others. "We" used to have a clear picture of their intent. Some of us still do.

Funny how some of them now see Elizabeth Warren and other Democrats and progressives as the sellouts, while they've sold out to Judicial Watch and Fox News.

Like most of the leadership of the Democratic Party, she remained above the fray while the voters determined the outcome.

She is in a unique position to bring together a campaign that is hurting for a progressive populist fire!

Only Elizabeth Warren can catch that fire!

The real test will be when/if Sanders drops out and endorses Hillary, especially if it's soon after June 7th.

For some of them, it's never been about Sanders; it's been about their own egos. Those few will toss him under the bus with everyone else.

because she hasn't endorsed Sanders as the Democratic nominee.

This is a pattern of intolerance that has been demonstrated throughout the campaign. When Planned Parenthood, NARAL, Al Franken, John Lewis, Jerry Brown, and anyone or group came out and endorsed Hillary, they were thrown under that proverbial bus.

If they want to know why they are losing, all they need to do is look in the mirror

Let's face it, if Elizabeth Warren had run, many of them wouldn't have been able to overcome their misogyny to support her, and especially not when she actually presented her strategies to achieve her plans. She wouldn't be pure enough for them, because those strategies would involve compromise. Only Bernie Sanders, who doesn't have any plans at all on how to achieve what he says he will is pure enough - precisely because he has no plans. They aren't interested in achieving anything - they are interested in being part of the selected elite.

Sat Jun 4, 2016, 03:51 PM

His goal, unless he's a moron, isn't to destroy the Democratic Party, but to change it. If he doesn't endorse Hillary people will say he was never a democrat, was just lying all along, and it makes him less relevant as he'll be seen once again as one of those people in a smaller party like Nader that can never win. I think his strategy now is to leave as much of a mark on the dem party as possible by pulling it further left (except on guns) and this will be his legacy. That's how I think he sees it, and people behind the scenes have been confirming this for the most part.

Now if he is dumb, he'll hit the nuke button by refusing to endorse, split the party and help Republicans win in the process. But considering he realized during Kerry's run the folly of voting for Nader and told people not to vote for Nader, I think he's not dumb and his strategy since NY hasn't been to win, but to impact the party in a lasting way by reminding it to continue moving the center further left. And THAT has been the Hillary argument all along - move further left but in a quieter, effective, but less drastic way (and with a well thought out plan that can actually pass through congress) as that's the only way possible in America. You don't dictate to the millions of righties and centrists. You work with them to get what you want over time. Hell it took 55 years after black people got the right to vote to give women the right. Like it or not, that's America.
