Has Rachel made the turn?

Tonight was all compliments about Clinton. It began with Rachel calling Hillary's speech today the best speech of her campaign. Then she ran a lengthy video of Hillary's speech and after that, she said the speech was brilliant because rather than simply criticizing Trump, Hillary simply and calmly attacked Trump using his own positions often in his own words.

Rachel said it was impressively well done, and complimented her a few more times.

She then interviewed the lead Democrat on the House committee dealing with national security who praised the speech and Hillary and talked about the problems Trump was creating with foreign officials who are expressing concerns in meetings with the Democrat in his frequent travels overseas.

Rachel then reported that Republican Congress men and women visiting now in South Korea are spending a good deal of time reassuring South Korean officials that Trump will not do what he has said he will do (e.g., meeting personally with the president of North Korea, etc.).

Next Rachel reported that yesterday as is customary on the first of the month, Hillary's campaign reported the May fundraising total. I think she raised about $27 million. Rachel noted that Bernie's campaign always reports with a big press release on the first of the month, promoting its impressive number in the media.

But for the first time in the campaign, the Bernies did not release their number. When questioned by the press today, Bernie would not provide the number but said that they had the money to compete to the convention. Rachel was skeptical and Joy Reid, in the next segment, expressed her skepticism and felt that perhaps Bernie's money pit has run dry.

Very interesting episode.

Far from it. She can see who will win the nomination. I think she liked Bernie, but didn't dislike Hillary. Now, she's getting ready to support the nominee. Anything else would be insane on her part, and she's far from insane.
