1. Thanks, Cha. This place has been stupider (I didn't think that was possible) and nastier than usual

lately.

The attacks on bigtree in his thread on this topic have just about done me in. I've always considered myself a moderate independent. After five years on DU, I am prouder than ever to call myself that.

3. Hey 23, you're Welcome. This is a very important issue we're trying

to take action on here in the USA, right NOW.

Thankfully, bigtree's thread has a lot of people on it who are interested in Sensible Gun Laws.. in spite of the disrespect for the Sandy Hook kids who were slaughtered.

We shall Persevere!

The republicans who are threatening to filibuster are shameful cowards to deny a vote on such an important issue.
