I was at my sister's after work. We had the whole 9 yards.

Corn beef, cabbage, carrots, potato and homemade Irish soda bread...oh and Irish beer!

It was great, and the whole family was there!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Feast, she.. you wouldn't have an Irish Family would ye? Sounds Delish and a Fine get together!

I am part Irish and Scottish but I had a wee bit of Mexican food for my St Patrick's Day celebration. Veggie Tacos with greens, sundried toms, and guacamole.. and green Kombucha

Yep you are part Irish, and you ate Green!

May I ask what kombucha is?

I so knew that you were a vegetarian, Cha.

Kombucha is a tea-based beverage that is often drunk for its health benefits or medicinal purposes.

Kombucha is a living health drink made by fermenting tea and sugar with the Kombucha culture. The result can taste like something between sparkling apple cider and champagne, depending on what kind of tea you use.

The first recorded use of kombucha comes from China in 221 BC during the Tsin Dynasty. It was known as “The Tea of Immortality”.

Kombucha tea has been reported to be a cure-all for a wide range of conditions including baldness, insomnia, intestinal disorders, arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, and cancer.

The second link is to a pic of what some of the bottles look like including the Green. My favorite is Gingeraid but I did Green in honor of today.
