Ashley Judd on President Obama -

"“I think that he is a powerful leader. I think he’s a brilliant man. I think that he has an incredible devotion to our constitution. And that he is now able to flower more as the President I knew he could be.”

Very well said, Ashley! I hope so much that she decides to run for Senate and beats McConnell!

Oh, yes, and this - “As long as the Republicans keep doing really dumb things about women’s reproductive health, that should help energize girls and women in this country,”

I heard them say Judd is not supported by the Administration nor the Dem Party in Kentucky. They don't think Judd has a chance at winning there.

Is that really true?

who want Allison Lundergren Grimes, the current Secretary of State, to run. Personally, I don't think there is anyway Grimes would beat McConnell; I don't find her very impressive, but that's my opinion only. But the good ole boys DINO network is active in this state.

We'll see how strong Judd is and how much she wants this. I think unless the current Lt. Gov, Jerry Abrahamson runs if she doesn't, we could see another term for turtlehead.

Kentucky is changing a bit...but my fear is that it's turning more Tea Party/Libertarians.

I really admire her for her support of Obama throughout the campaign. I don't know what her chances would be in Kentucky. It would be nice for the President, and the country, to have more people who will work with, not against, him.

I just loved her comments about PBO and admire her much for being such a strong supporter! I'd love to see Ashley run and win!
