It doesn't take much for the Repubs to do good. Even just one job created is better than no jobs created.

I voted FOR him.
I did NOT vote against someone else, or something else.

I never in my life thought I would see this dream come true, and it has.

Everything else is gravy, one day at a time forward.

And may this reality (because Teddy's fabled The Dream lives on is now reality) so
may this reality last forever and President Obama's agenda is the law of the land forever more.

And nothing from now on is as important as keeping this reality going forever and ever.

When he gave that keynote address...

Well, I say to them tonight, there is not a liberal America and a conservative America — there is the United States of America. There is not a black America and a white America and Latino America and Asian America — there's the United States of America. The pundits like to slice-and-dice our country into Red States and Blue States; Red States for Republicans, Blue States for Democrats. But I've got news for them, too: We worship an awesome God in the Blue States, and we don't like federal agents poking around in our libraries in the Red States. We coach Little League in the Blue States, and, yes, we've got some gay friends in the Red States. There are patriots who opposed the war in Iraq and there are patriots who supported the war in Iraq.

SNIP:
It's the hope of slaves sitting around a fire singing freedom songs. The hope of immigrants setting out for distant shores. The hope of a young naval lieutenant bravely patrolling the Mekong Delta. The hope of a mill worker's son who dares to defy the odds. The hope of a skinny kid with a funny name who believes that America has a place for him, too. Hope! Hope in the face of difficulty! Hope in the face of uncertainty! The audacity of hope! In the end, that is God's greatest gift to us, the bedrock of this nation. A belief in things not seen. A belief that there are better days ahead.

I was in awe, even back in 2004!

Thanks graham, we have his back!

And for good luck I wore it in 2008 and 2012.
I recall who first told me about him before he was Senator, but can't remember exactly when.

There was no question in 2008 whom I was supporting.
I hoped and hoped, and it was better than I hoped for.

And I wish him to be SCOTUS in 2018-19.

I believe America is fortunate to have President Obama, and I am in awe of how he is infusing a sense of progressive purpose. I would love to be back at college just to hear thoughtful discussions about the moment we are living in (thank goodness for DU).

And I don't have words to describe how I feel about lgbt liberation. The moment is here and I am living through it. Just wow as a man who was born in the 70's, grew up in the 80's and cast my first vote in the Clinton v. Bush election. I am married to my soulmate, who I have been with for 17 years.

We've come so far as a society - despite historic proportions of republican obstruction.

Obama has given me an understanding the American dream; how I raised myself out of poverty because a ladder out of the small town where I grew up was there for me to climb. Ladders are important and never forgotten.

Now, they're doing the same tactics to try and make him look BAD Again.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I was pretty apolitical until Bush. His stupidity, the reckless and stupid Iraq war, the big business over the people and the anti-women agenda - that is what made me a committed liberal, committed Democrat and fervent Obama supporter. Yes, they created one excellent job and created millions like me who will always support the person who now has that job!

I find it very liberating to be liberal/progressive/ pro-Obama. I'm 54 years old. Better late to the party than not to attend at all! President Obama is the best President of my lifetime, probably of all time!
