Why President Obama Matters.

You can actually feel the pain in our Presidents face. You can feel the loss of his friend. What a caring soul. Senator Daniel Inouye matters to this President.

This Country matters to him as do the people of this nation!

Too bad. He is a nice guy. He has lots of empathy for the young, very little for the old.

There has been a lot of noise and a lot of conjecture about it. However nothing has been finalized.

I prefer to wait and see. I am tired of listening to the media spin (liberal media????). They are the same ones that kept telling us that the race "Was To Close to Call!!"

I for one believe in this president to do the right thing!

Obama came of age during the Reagan years and has some of the assumptions of that period baked into his worldview. In particular, he seems to believe that the "welfare state" as we know it is unsustainable and needs to be trimmed and tightened if it is not to fail altogether -- and that this is in the long-range best interests of everyone.

He's not a Republican who is trying to destroy government. He's not a sociopath who has no feeling for the suffering his policies might cause. He's simply a sincere, well-meaning man who has unnecessarily narrow definitions of what is possible, and that can lead him badly astray.

possible if you work hard enough and have the patience to see it through. And, he is a very patient man. He's a realist and knows what is possible now with the obstructions-at-any-cost.. but, he's able to help build solid foundations for infinite possibilities.

The art of the possible to build on for future generations. But, we'll need Dems in Office.. no sitting home like so many did in 2010 that gave the world the koch party congress.

couple weeks for the prez. Even on his holiday break he has this sorrow to face too.

It's been a really tough year for a lot of us, I'm hoping that next year will be way different for all of us in good ways.

this vivid reminder of how much our President cares about our country and its people, she.

That's a very poignant picture to illustrate.. the latest historical pic in a long line.

Not an Obama fan but sure not a GOP supporter. I tend to be to the left of Obama, so please no jabs about me being a right winger. I just think that Obama is a mediocre prez

You do not believe in honoring the dead? You do not believe it is a caring soul that would honor it's fallen. Seriously?

The Bush administration after 9.11. Waged two wars, Afganistan..which held Al-Qaida, they were the perps for 9.11.
Irag was a joke. Revenge for
GWB's Dad because they tried to kill him... It was for oil!

Did the Chicken Hawks that sent our young men and women to war honor them. No they did not! They banned any viewing of the bodies of our soldiers returning from war! They showed them no honor and no respect!

I thank this President for openly honoring our Senator Inouye.

Our President overturned the ban for returning soldiers. I applaud him!

I thank this President from the bottom of my heart for openly honoring our incoming soldiers at Andrews Air force Base.
He honors our soldiers with respect with compassion and gratitude.
