There were a lot of other interesting points in the CNN interview, but this showed me, once again, what a kind and decent human being President Obama is.

(7,936 posts)Neither was his son. This article shows the depth of the bond between biden and obama. It also is a stark indictment of how messed up our healthcare system is When the family of a veteran and attorney general has medically related financial trouble.
I we had universal healthcare this would not be happening.

(5,901 posts)He has spent 46 years as a senator and VP, and is not a rich man. Obviously he wasn't on the take. I love Joe. Reminds me of legendary Speaker Sam Rayburn. He spent decades in Washington and years as Speaker, and when he died his only asset was a house in Bonham, Texas. He lived in a rooming house all those years in DC.
