health coverage for the first time.. also those who had pre-conditions who are now being covered.

These are life and death situations that the gopropaganda machine wants to make sure they have no chance.

God Forbid someone should try to give you the benefit of the doubt, to explain yourself, to confirm that you really were just being rude, before noting that's what you're doing.

Oh, the horror of "having to spell it out for them" when insulting in a protected group.

I am one of those people that would not have health insurance if it wasn't for Obamacare.

Yes, my premiums went up. Yes I had to refigure my budget.... but it's worth it!

Not so fast....

Must we always have Hillary fantasies everywhere?

Besides, with a "socialist" POTUS we might get single payer instead of healthcare INSURANCE reform. I know several people whose Obamacare premiums just doubled.

But of course the stupid GOP bill should be vetoed....duh.....

Sat Jan 9, 2016, 01:05 PM
Jan 2016

During his whole adult life, my brother never could afford health coverage. Then he developed a chronic condition and couldn't get coverage even if he had the money, which he never did. He just went to the ER where they would just stabilize him and send him on his way rather than treat his underlying condition. He would not have lived much longer that way.

But now, living in CA which accepted Medicaid expansion, he has FREE coverage due to his low income. He finally has a personal physician and is being treated.

Obama literally saved my brother's and thousands of other Americans' lives with the ACA, and with this veto.

Obamacare so incredibly vital and necessary for the health of our country and its people.

Disgusting how many people want it torn down and dismantled because it's good for Dems and very bad for the mean spirited repubs.

So grateful your brother's life was saved by actually being able to get health insurance.

Thanks Obama!

Poll: Obama’s approval rating hits an 18-month high, is back over 50 percent

[img][/img]
President Barack Obama held a Town Hall at McKinley High School in Baton Rouge today

MOre pics.. I just chose that one.. http://theobamadiary.com/2016/01/14/the-presidents-day-81/

A bare 51 percent majority of the public approves of President Obama's job performance in a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, while 45 percent disapproves. Although tepidly positive, those are Obama's best numbers since May 2013 in Post-ABC surveys.

The movement in his ratings — which we would emphasize has not yet been verified in other public polls — has been slight on a month-to-month basis. But his ratings have moved in a positive direction in two consecutive Post-ABC surveys. In May and July, Obama's ratings were more negative than positive, with 45 percent to 46 percent approving and 50 percent disapproving of his performance. That tipped the other way in September, to 49 percent approval and 46 percent disapproval. And that slight shift has continued in the latest survey.

This is Amazing considering all the cyberwaves and airwaves pushing ODS from the rabid rw and the other end of the spectrum biting at his heels.
