ISIS/ISIL/Daesh: I'm really grateful we have an intelligent and thoughtful President Obama....

who considers all the harsh realities and limitations of this extremely complex problem, and who acts carefully in light of all that.

Our next President needs to be just as intelligent and thoughtful about our involvements overseas, and with Daesh especially. We can't go down a reckless road a la GWB and Iraq. I'm going to really miss him, but I'm sure he will do great things in 2017 and beyond.

Go Dems in 2016!

Wishing everyone a Happy December/Holiday season!

take 5 tokes on a good bong, and wait 15 minutes before being allowed to make any military decision.

Coincidentally, I also believe that every peace conference should start with all in attendance starting it off the same way.

We'd have peace in our time.

I think it means they are more stymied than anything. They've been clueless about middle east terrorists from the start and don't get smarter because they're not paid to be smart. They're paid to defeat the democratic process and fool the public into being as stupid as they can keep them.

ISIL IS the broader threat. ISIS is about Syria. Right? And Obama doesn't have to explain that every time he speaks. I do wonder though if he thinks we're smarter than we actually are . . .

It's called an acronym, stupid Republicans and ignorant propagandist talking heads!

When I hear ISIL, I hear "Islamic State in the Levant."

When I hear ISIS, I hear "Islamic State in Syria."

When I hear Daesh, I hear mocking derision.

It is a little subtle and nuanced. Not too offensive to a billion Muslims since it is specific.

President Obama has got this!
