A number of friends drive the Prius or Leaf. Someday I’d like to do the same, but my Social Security check needs to increase ridiculously for that to happen. Meanwhile, my second-hand gasburner has been getting me around for a little over five years.

Today, for the very first time, I was able to fill the tank all the way up. So, on behalf of everyone similarly bracketed , I say

I filled mine this week too, it was like high school prices! I had some redneck just start taking about Obama causing gas prices to skyrocket a few months ago, like I'm just going to agree blindly or some shit. I calmly told him that they'd be back down soon enough, and that Obama has nothing to do with it. He didn't seem to like my response, so he said "ok, whatever" and hopped in his piece of shit full size truck and left. I had no idea that it would come true, but I'm glad I was right. I just wanted to let the asshole know not to talk to me about politics if you're ignorant.
