4. It is unfair to compare Cheney to Vader

In the end Vader sees the wrongs of his ways and helps Luke to defeat the Emperor. He has a change of heart so to speak. This may be impossible for Cheney because we are unsure if there is a heart in him at all. Vader leaves the Dark Side and is reunited posthumously with Obi Wan and Yoda to celebrate the defeat of the Empire.

I just don't see Dick Cheney as having that humanistic side that Vader displays at the end.

I wish that all comparisons of the the Evil Dick Cheney to the at one time ruthless, but eventual compassionate Darth Vader would cease. Vader deserves better.
