"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we have been waiting for. We are the change that we seek."

People get hope and change so wrong it drives me nuts. He was not the hope and change, it was supposed to be us. And it will be.

You read the words and understood them.

It was never about him. It was about us. It was always about us.

We need to be brave enough, bold enough, WE NEED TO WANT IT ENOUGH TO MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN!

"We don't ask you to believe in our ability to bring change, rather, we ask you to believe in yours.”

“Nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices calling for change.”

Yes, we can.
People sometimes don't understand the psychological boost he has given people like me. Confidence is key. Just by being himself he really has uplifted us all as a people. No limits. We can do anything together, if we try.

...as he has been of us. I continue to stand in awe of the way President Obama forges ahead despite the unrelenting obstruction he has faced for 6 years. He is deserving of the overused word awesome.
