One day I'll post a thread with the whole story with pictures because I think it's nearly a miracle that I'm not only alive but feeling better than ever!
On Nov 5 they went in the third time to figure out WTH the thing wasn't healing and discovered that the chunk of bone about the sizer of an egg that had to be removed was not fusing to the skull and had become infected, basically dead bone.
So they pulled it and sewed me back up and I now have a depression on my temple but the skin is completely healed, a fourth surgery in a couple months will place an artificial chunk back in to restore the structural integrity of the skull.
I have a special helmet I'm supposed to wear but I don't unless doing yardwork or cycling.
Anyway, I woke up the next day feeling so good that people joked about me being high, or drunk, or just unreasonably happy and bouncy and I swear it's partly that I got through the procedure and mostly because something toxic that was in my dome was not gone!
Thank you so much for asking, one day I'll post pics and all, it's been a real roller coaster with Covered California and Anthem, the first is great, the latter sucks, I'm changing plans.
