This one works for me every time. the song is actually secondary, I love the noise, the dancing, the joy.

This is going to be my Sunday treasure - on most Sundays the fam gets together here for dinner and I force them to listen to one of my precious findings - and ths one wins! They ALWAYS end up enjoying whatever I offer.

(87,216 posts)I posted it here a long time ago in an OP. Tried to find it in my journal. That failed. I can't believe that I remembered the title.

(24,096 posts)besides the wonderful sound and song, it's the absolute joy on the faces of the people making the music.

(6,151 posts)here are a few of mine: Most of the Christmas songs, but mainly Clay Aiken's version of 'Mary Did You Know'. Also 'Our God Reigns' and my personal favorite, 'Ave Maria'. As a bit charismatic, I dance around the house and sing it to different tunes when I feel really in the dumps, and it always perks me right up, along with my own dance versions of the Hail Mary. As a lifelong blues fan, I'm also one of those strange people made happier by blues music.
But really, just about anything with a good dance beat ought to cheer up everybody.
