GOTV 2014
Thanks Kath!
Every woman in this country should have access to contraception and abortion services.
I hate that old line - "Women regret abortion."
Some of my friends made the choice for abortion and it was probably the best choice of their lives. No regrets, no apologies.
My mind, my body, my choice, indeed!
A mass of cells or a fetus should never trump a young woman's hopes and dreams. Why can't they understand that simple fact?

(4,309 posts)Just 15 years ago, I would have been in a Catholic church this morning listening to some creepy guy on an anti-choice rant and telling me how to live my life.
I am just sooo glad I had an awakening. I'm spending this Sunday morning, as I do all Sunday mornings, checking out DU, the NARAL and Planned Parenthood websites, relaxing and being totally at peace with myself. My time so much better spent! Love it!
It really is so much cooler and refreshing to be a bleeding heart liberal, 2014 hippie, pro-choice and anti-war. And, of course, it is awesome to be a fervent Barack Obama supporter!!!
GOTV in 2014! LET'S TURN THIS COUNTRY BLUE!!!!
