Obama: 'He belongs to the ages'

"We've lost one of the most influential, courageous and profoundly good human beings that any of us will share time with on this earth," said current U.S. President Barack Obama, the first black leader of his own country who said his first public activism was an anti-apartheid protest. "He no longer belongs to us. He belongs to the ages."

Hugs to them. Who better to go see than the likes of Mandela. Bobby, Martin and John are there too~

To our friends, who have shown us the way. Nelson, Bobby, Martin and John.

They gave us a future that we can respect.

article on Madiba, she~

"Mourners hail Nelson Mandela's courage, conviction, 'remarkable lack of bitterness'"

From your 1st link..

I feel President Obama aspires to be like his hero, Madiba, and not carry any bitterness with him, either. It is a big waste of time and energy.

Look at what it's done to the US republicons.

Mandela showed us the power of action; of taking risks on behalf of our ideals. Perhaps Madiba was right that he inherited, “a proud rebelliousness, a stubborn sense of fairness” from his father. Certainly he shared with millions of black and colored South Africans the anger born of, “a thousand slights, a thousand indignities, a thousand unremembered moments…a desire to fight the system that imprisoned my people.”

Like you, I can't get enough of learning new elements about Madiba's life and honoring his memory, she~ :
