The color of things~

As Carole King once said,

My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue
An everlasting vision of the ever changing view
A wondrous woven magic in bits of blue and gold
A tapestry to feel and see, impossible to hold

Our life has been a rich tapestry of color and hue. Yes, the everlasting vision of a ever changing view. Have you noticed that, the change? Indeed, it's the the color of change.

Our history has been harsh. We take steps forward, then fall back once again. However that has not stopped us. It never will, we push it forward.

Something changed when we elected our first Black President. We heard something and we listened, We felt something and moved toward it. A whisper of hope and it swelled.

The swell do you feel it? I did when Wendy Davis stood up with the women of Texas and said no to the neanderthal party. Texas said no more. They did not stand alone, we stood with them too. It was not just a woman's issue, it was an issue of humanity.

When we won equal rights for LGBT, we again stood together. It's about equality for all of us. Every man woman and child. With equal pay, healthcare for all, not just the so called, or is that the "self called privileged class"? No it is for each and everyone of us. Humanity.

Our right to vote, women and black, all of us. This applies to every vote.

WHY IS IT CALLED "SUFFRAGE?"

A vote is just a vote, but suffrage is a vote with high purpose. Thus it is no surprise that the high-purposed radical movement to extend the vote to women adopted the term suffrage to sum up its goal. Suffrage was already enshrined in the U.S. Constitution, where it applies to a right so fundamental it cannot be amended away.

Our right! It can not be amended away.

There is something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear. Yet I can feel it, it started softly. Yet it becomes louder and stronger everyday.

A man's character always takes its hue, more or less, from the form and color of things about him." - Frederick Douglass

It is about the color of things. Our colors grow brighter by the day. As our colors grow brighter so does our spirit. It's about our dignity. No one is going to take that from us.

For the BOG Thank you all for being here.

been glorious and beyond interesting fighting for our Equality rights, the rights for every Vote to be Equal and Counted, and for the integrity of this President to be presented in an authentic and straightforward way.

In of itself it is "Vividly, eloquently stated". The red and yellow are about the passion, energy, strength and desire to settle things, to make them right. The blue, more restful like the ocean, soothing.

Purple, I had to go here for that..I could not have said it so well~

http://crystal-cure.com/purple.html

Purple is the color of good judgment. It is the color of people seeking spiritual fulfillment. It is said if you surround yourself with purple you will have peace of mind. Purple is a good color to use in meditation.

Purple has been used to symbolize magic and mystery, as well as royalty. Being the combination of red and blue, the warmest and coolest colors, purple is believed to be the ideal color. Most children love the color purple. Purple is the color most favored by artists. Thursday's color is purple.

Violet is the color of purpose. Violet is associated with the Crown chakra (This links individual and universal).

Thank you Cha~
