Awaken the Mind.
A few of the comments~
John Dough: When my stepson was about 5 years old he had an african american friend/neighbor I asked him if he noticed a difference between him and his friend and he said "yeah, he's 6 and im only 5...." he continued to point out differences between them, never once mentioning skin color
Andrew Bauer: This shot reminds me of a recent trip to Wal-Mart. I ran into 2 families--one white, one black, both with a daughter (the white girl appeared about 4 years old, the black girl about 6). The white couple started to walk around the other family, looking at them with disdain as they did so, but their daughter, with no other thought than being friendly, walked up to the black girl and gave her a big hug right in the middle of the aisle. Everyone around thought it was so cute...except the white parents, who looked like they were about to have a coronary. I think it's a sad state when a 4 year old child has to teach a lesson in how to treat people to her adult parents.
Jennie Smith: Well Derek i cannot speak for all black people but Im a educated black female and i work damn hard for what i have and i never teach my kids color we are all one color in the eyes of god so bless you and have a great life

It's a dream of mine that someday everyone will see the world through a child's eyes. Then we will have the color of change.
