And, the juries are a crap shoot. Sometimes they unanimously Hide a post that needs to be hidden because it's a slur and sometimes the HOSTs let a vulgar flamebait thread stand. But when a thread that's calling out personal attacks on a member gets lots of alerts from the personal attackers.. well that OP gets locked. Wah Wah Wah.

As for the racism threads I haven't seen this debated here before so from my perspective it's good that it's being discussed because I honestly didn't know a) how strongly many DU members resisted acknowledging it and b) how little many seem to actually know about it. So better racism than the latest fake scandal if it's really that big a mystery.

Look at the way that Boston article is so slanted against the President and in attempting to fracture the party.
Why would a 93-4 vote focus on the 4?
I will have to assume Sen. Warren herself is mortified by that headline and slant of the article.

People also seem to forget it was President Obama who picked her for his cabinet, and the republicans that would NOT vote on her
or confirm her, and the senate seat was obtained with 100% support of President Obama and the democratic party.

Hosts should try to apply the SOP objectively and without regard to the ideologies involved.

14. Sorry this in violation of the SOP as it does not focus

on supporting either the President or his policies.

While we don't want DUers coming to the BOG to engage in confrontational exercises undermining the President we also don't want supporters of the President to use the BOG to bring conflicts in GD here, especially when the safe haven status doesn't allow them to respond.

My advice is to either ignore those that create dissension or to gather your facts and borrow some optimism from the President and patiently and persistently engage, much in the same way that the President has been doing these 5 years.
