Democrats
Related: About this forumWarnock(D-GA) is the most vulnerable Democratic US Senator up for re-election this year.
Warnock will have to compete in the 1/2023 runoff because he and Hershel Walker are unlikely to get over 50 percent of the popular vote in 11/2022.
The runoff elections are favorable to Republican ie 1992 GA US Senate Election between Coverdell-R and Fowler-D.
Democrats guide to remaining in the majority is winning AZ,NV,NH,and PA.

(3,479 posts)Damn, Warnock is a model person and Senator while Walker is just a disgrace of a human being.
And also underscores how fortunate the Dems (and the Country as a whole) were in 2020 with sweeping the GA senate elections.
Voter suppression will get Warnock if he goes down. Just sucks to think about it.

(3,853 posts)I think he wins in a head to head with Walker. I believe there is some number of GOP in GA who will not vote for a Black man even if he's a Republican. Especially when the Black man is such a damaged candidate with tons of baggage. Did I mention he has a right wing bat sh*t crazy Gay son that is nuttier than him? If he was a character in a movie we'd boycott the movie for its sick and disrespectful portrait of a Gay person.

(8,617 posts)Raphael Warnock got elected to his US Senate by a very narrow margin- less than 1 percent.
I would not get to overconfident in GA.
