Related: About this forumCan Malcolm Kenyatta win the Democratic Nomination for the 2022 PA US Senate Election?
The Democratic primary race for the 2022 PA US Senate Election is similar to the Democratic Primary race for the 2004 IL US Senate Race.
A charismatic young black progressive state legislator running against two moderate white candidates.
Kenyatta is able to defeat the 2 Republican front runners,(McCormick-R and Oz-R).

(8,617 posts)Is Fetterman more or less progressive than Kenyatta?
Fetterman,Kenyatta, and Lamb are left of center Democrats but Kenyatta is more progressive than Fetterman and Lamb.
Kenyatta is able to win in the November General Election.
Kenyatta would be the 1st black LGBT US Senator from PA if elected.

(298 posts)Progressive than Fetterman. I haven't seen one thing issue that Fetterman supports that isn't progressive.

(25,291 posts)Fetterman in a landslide, he may even get some Magat votes.
Maybe no one will win, still waiting on my absentee ballot that is held up in the court.

(8,617 posts)Can a black LGBT progressive win in the Philadelphia/Pittsburgh suburbs?
OnDoutside
(20,658 posts)first started appearing on Lawrence O'Donnell's show. I think he's got a bright future but I don't think PA will elect a progressive in a state wide race yet. I suspect that he's running to raise his profile, and that's fine too. He's a young man in a hurry.

(8,617 posts)The Black and White Liberal Voters in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are are less likely to vote for Fetterman but they dont trust Lamb. Kenyatta energizes the Democratic base.
