Becerra has more experience than Schiff.
Becerra served in US House from 1993-2017(24 years) Becerra held couple of leadership positions(Vice Chair of House Democratic Caucus and Assistant to the House Democratic Leader.)
Schiff served in the US House since 2001.
Becerra has won statewide(CA Attorney General in 2018.)
Becerra is currently a US Cabinet Secretary- Health and Human Services.

7. I really like Xavier too and he would make a fine Senator, I just

think Schiff's profile is way higher.

That said, if Feinstein retired before her term is up, maybe that's where Becerra could manoeuvre himself in, if the Governor were to choose him as her replacement. Then he would go into the race as the incumbent.

Regarding Schiff’s profile. it is not higher than Becerra. Becerra entered the spotlight in 1993, Schiff entered the spotlight in 2001 right after he defeated Clinton Impeachment Manager James Rogan. I thank Schiff for that. Schiff is also the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.
