Potential OPEN Democratic held US Senate seats in 2022 and the likely successors.

VT(Leahy-D) and WA(Murray-D)
Both are the most senior Democratic US Senators up for re-election in 2022.
CA(Feinstein-D) is up for re-election in 2024 but she is likely to step down before 2023.
CA can have 2 US Senate Elections in 2022.
CA(Padilla-D) regular election
CA(Breed-D) special election
VT(Donovan-D)
WA(Jayapal-D)

Jayapal will be the leading candidate to replace Murray.
Jayapal is a progressive Democratic US House Member from the Seattle Metro Area.
If elected, Jayapal is going to be the first Indian American US Senator from Washington State.

Warnock has election again in 2022 because that seat was an appointed seat but I may be wrong about that.
