For Linux, Dedoimedo's favorite Windows 10 theming package

https://www.dedoimedo.com/ is probably the most negative reviewer about all things Linux. Once you understand that, however, it is a good break from reviews by many distro-specific or desktop-specific Linux Fanboys out there.

I have not tried this but some of you may want to try out this "Windows 10 look", especially if you are trying to convert Windows users into primary or secondary Linux users.

https://b00merang.weebly.com/windows-10.html

The site mentions that it works wtih Gnome, XFCE, Mate and Openbox. No KDE, Solus, etc.

Warning: Dedoimedo does seem to be a fanboy for KDE and CentOS.

I do tech support for a living. I work at a Managed Service Provider. We manage the networks and servers for SMB customers.

Win 10 is a devil of a platform. Microsoft, in their effort to dumb it down, has made it worse than earlier versions. It is also a platform to deliver marketing content. Yuck.

Okay, I'll stop preaching to the choir and ranting.

Win 10, all on its own, is reason enough to start switching to LINUX.

I'm sure someone smarter than me has already said this:

With the IoT being based mainly on LINUX derivatives and kids learning to code early, LINUX will end up being the winner over Windows in the long run. No one thought IBM would ever lose their place in the market until PCs made computers the common man's tool. LINUX will do the same for operating systems.
