Apple Users
Related: About this forumMessages app won't speak to my husband suddenly
I have Apple, he has Android. We text all the time. Once in a while it won't send something, but this morning it won't let us communicate in either direction. I have sms turned on if i-messages isn't available.
We've turned the phones off and on, tried using non-wifi.
Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance.

(17,440 posts)Don't worry, it happens to all couples.
Try turning the phone off for a day and actually talking to each other. It might help.

(4,244 posts)Believe me, we talk A LOT! But if he's downstairs and I'm upstairs and the cat does something funny? It's a texting emergency! (We don't get out much.)
(Oh and p.s. suddenly it's fine. Though we do now both have What's App.)

Does it bother anyone else that Apple shows messages to Android users in the least-readable white on green bubble? PUNISHING APPLE USERS?
