It's kind of like that question.
I'm even fairly new to Macs, not a long-time fan. For years I've been a professional Windows developer, and have admined hundreds of Windows servers in an enterprise environment.
Of course the question has a time factor to it. At the time of Windows 98 it had some technological advances that MacOS of the time didn't have, like preemptive multitasking and protected memory.
