Anyone have good advice on buying iPhone/plan?

Finally finished the contract on my 8 and it was damaged beyond repair as I leaped out of the car to help my Mom. Would like to get a 13 and Verizon is offering it for $400 if I get back in the contract saddle with them for 3 years. I’ve looked around online a bit and didn’t find much else, checking if anyone has looked into this lately and knows of a better deal …?

Is $14 a month, a little higher if you also have an Apple Watch or have other lines.

Of course this does not include the price of the phone.

Over the number of months you expect to own the phone and add it to the $14.

I'm on AT&T and sometimes the reception is spotty. But it's reasonably priced since my wife qualifies for an educator discount.

Do some online research and good luck!

Monthly plans, no ‘usage fees’ and usually have older (NEW) iPhone models on sale. A couple of years ago but I got the latest iPhone SE for 99 dollars.

Verizon service (under another name) can be had for less than half of what Verizon charges.
Comcast and ATT offer plans, I recall.
I pay Spectrum (Long story short, I think it used to be Verizon Fiber prior to several changes in owhership)
Phone purchase cost will vary. Our phones were already paid off.

Good luck

May be others. Good luck.
For whatever reason, the "coax and fiber" people are able/willing to do this. They don't tell me why

When another company offered a better plan than Verizon, I took my phone in and told them I was thinking about the better deal as my phone is not locked to Verizon. The guy said he'd be right back and went to talk to his manager and came back and said they would match their deal. A better warranty buying at Apple and I can switch to any carrier.

We love our mint mobile deals - it works out to $15 month for the service if you pay for the year up front. They have deals on new and refurbed phones, too or you can bring your own unlocked phone if you find a better deal somewhere else. I think they also have a month-to-month plan for seniors (over 55) that's fairly new.

I was immediately sold. They are intuitive and largely problem-free. Love ‘em, especially after years dealing with Microsoft computer headaches. Now I use an iPad instead of a PC and couldn’t be happier.
