I have some photos on my iPhone 11 that were airdropped onto it.

How do I get them transferred off my iPhone onto my non-Apple computer? It's a Dell windows machine.

1. email works

Or you can upload to something like DropBox, Google Drive, etc.

There are other ways, but those are maybe the easiest.

4. Email to yourself

it's a bit inefficient, but works for a few photos at a time. Just note that services such as GMail have an attachment limit, so you may only get to do one or two per email.

2. Try e-mailing them to yourself from the iphone and open the emails on the Dell.

6. Select the photos on your phone then

hit the up arrow box. Select email then email them to your self. Open the email on your computer then save them to the folder you want them in.

7. If you select and open a photo on the iPhone you should see an icon

(on mine it's at the bottom left) for sharing (a square with an arrow pointing up). Touch that icon and there will more icons along the bottom of the screen. Select the email icon (an envelope) and then you will be able to enter your email address and a subject line. The photo will be attached. Touch the send symbol (arrow) and that should do it. When you open the email on your Dell it should be there and you can download it to whatever file you want.

that lives on my out-of-support Mac in the basement, to my Windows 10 PC in my living room.

12. Apple iPhone (Image) Back-Up To Google Drive On Dell Computer

Okay then, you most likely have an iPhone charger with a power/communications cable.

Plug one end (with the smaller connector) of that cable into your iPhone and then unplug the other end (typically USB) and connect it directly to a similar USB port on your Dell computer.

Now you will have your Apple iPhone connected directly to your Dell computer.

Of Some Note Here: You can install and remove your iPhone cable WITHOUT consulting that pesky (Windows) "Safely Remove"...message.

Watch on your Apple iPhone for a pop-up message asking: "Trust This Computer?". Then click "Trust" and you will be asked to enter your iPhone passcode (on your iPhone)...now enter your iPhone passcode.

Watch on your Dell computer monitor for a pop-up message "Add Apple iPhone" then click "Add device" but be quick (here), as the message will disappear; however, if you miss the context, just disconnect your USB cable from the USB port on your Dell computer and then re-connect that same cable into the USB port - and that message will now repeat (itself).

Watch on your Dell computer monitor for a Google Drive pop-up, then select either "Back up to Google Drive" OR select "Back up to Google Photos". There will also be an "Options" selection wherein you can learn more.

As I have "Google Drive" on all my devices, I would select "Back up to Google Drive" and then select "Save" (to my Google Drive).

Once your images are resident on your (very own) Google Drive, you may do with them as you please.

To view those freshly uploaded images, open "File Explorer" on your Dell computer and...

...I will stop here, as you just this moment stated you can view those images on your Dell computer.
