(11,137 posts)Did you recently upgrade, or did Apple upgrade you automatically, to a new version of El Capitan?
Just throwing around some guesses, but if either one is a "yes", you may need to upgrade the browser you are currently using.

If it looks right, I'd erase it and type it in again (in case there's some whitespace or
other invisible character in it).
403 is a generic error by web servers when a URL is not allowed. My guess is that you've
got a typo in the URL you're trying to access and trying to go someplace unintended.
Btw, MacOS does have a list of naughty sites (malware) that it will block without your
actively overriding the warning, but it's a lot more obvious why it's blocking it than a
a simple '403' error.

I rebooted my PC and now seems OK.
To clarify, this is not a 403 error code.

Omniweb first. Epic last as Epic is not as verified. I use Epic for regular browsing but not financial sites.

(23,047 posts)What is a 403 Forbidden Error? The 403 Forbidden error is an HTTP status code which means that accessing the page or resource you were trying to reach is absolutely forbidden for some reason.
