The sound quality is supposed to be excellent and I'm enjoying the lossless and new Dolby Atmos on my Beats Studio and AirPods Pro.
Look how sleek and sexy those cans are.
Have any of you Apple cultists (of which I'm definitely one) shelled out the $550 on these puppies yet?
There's an Apple Store in town and I never stood a chance. Will prob update with a review soon enough.

(908 posts)My first Mac was an SE30. I've owned numerous Macs through the years, down to my current M1 Mac Mini, which I bought because my 2011 27" iMac died. I've owned several iPhones, from the original model to my current 7Plus. Owned three iPads, will be replacing my current original iPad Air some time this year.
Given all that, I can't see myself buying an Apple Watch or these headphones. Just too expensive.

Batteries are not designed to be replaced by the owner, but not they are not toooo hard to get to. But iFixit doesn't sell replacement parts ... yet. I'm gonna predict iFixit will have a battery kit available before the warranty expires.

But as the teardown shows, once you get below the only point where they used adhesive, you can quite easily replace them. Or could - since you would have to find a replacement part first. But the batteries are not glued down and they do have a real connector! These AirPods Max did get 6 out of 10 Points for being somewhat repair friendly - contrary the the other members of the AirPods family, who earned a whopping 0 points !
