Advice given second hand here isn't much better than the translated Chinese instructions.

Go to System Preferences and find Printers & Scanners. Click on that and you should see a window on the left of the screen listing your current printers. Hit the + to add it.

There's always a help number to call with a new purchase. I actually had to do this recently with a new printer. My problem ended up using the Chrome browser which produced errors on installation. Switching to Edge worked fine.
